The Light of the World has come! Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the true reason for the season, through a variety of special events and services. Come experience the wonder and joy of Christmas with us.

On December 13 and 14, the Faith Builders youth group will be presenting a Christmas program! Join us Saturday at 5pm, or Sunday at 10am with a potluck brunch to follow. Come and hear the story of Jesus’ birth through fresh eyes, “A Christmas to Believe in!”

Join us for a beautiful Christmas Eve candlelight service filled with carols, Scripture readings, and a message of hope and salvation. Bring your family and friends as we reflect on the miracle of Christ's birth and light candles to symbolize the light of Christ shining in the darkness.

Music has always been an important part of Advent's Christmas Eve services. The glorious organ and the joyful singing of the carols are integral to the entire worship experience, for members and for visitors. This year, we are inviting everyone who would like to participate to join our Christmas Eve Choir! Click the button below for more information.
Join us for midweek worship, Wednesdays in Advent at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

Christmas can be a joyous time of year for many, but for others it may be a very difficult season. If you are struggling this holiday season, you are invited to join us for a special service of healing and remembrance as we hold space for our grief in the midst of the holiday. We will gather on Tuesday, December 23 at 12pm and at 6:30pm.

Yes! This year, our Faith builders youth group will be performing a special program that is built into the worship service on December 13th at 5pm and December 14th at 10am. Join us as our children share this story of “A Christmas to Believe in!”
You are also invited to join us for a brunch potluck after the Sunday service in our Knoedler Center Fellowship Hall.
Definitely! At Advent, we believe children are important voices in the life of the church. The very first Christmas Eve was one that was likely loud and perhaps a little chaotic - and we anticipate this Christmas Eve to be much the same.
Note: Although our 5pm contemporary service will be particularly family-oriented, all three services are open to anyone and everyone. It is a joyous blessing to have children in worship with us.
We also offer a nursery with a viewing window, and an attached nursing room available if you need it.
This year we are offering THREE special candlelight Christmas Eve services:
All three services will include the candlelight singing of Silent Night.
Typically, our worship services last about an hour long, and we expect the 1pm and 5pm services to follow that model.
The 7pm formal traditional service will likely be a little longer, perhaps an hour and a half, because of the added choir anthem and formal processional.
Music has always been an important part of Advent's Christmas Eve services. The glorious organ and the joyful singing of the carols are integral to the entire worship experience, for members and for visitors.
In keeping with that, there will be a Christmas Choir at the 7:00 service helping to energize the hymns and to sing one anthem. The rehearsals are open to all and will be held on Wednesdays December 3, 10 and 17 from 3:00-4:00 pm in the sanctuary.
Please let Lori Jahn know if you are interested in participating or have questions!
We do not have Christmas day services - celebrate the joy and love of the season with your friends and family. Merry Christmas!
Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone!
Absolutely! All are welcome to join us, to come exactly as you are. This is a great place to come and just experience the love of God - even when you aren’t sure about what you believe.
