The month of October is another busy one, but we will keep to our regular schedule this month of meeting on the 1st and 3rd Friday. I am really looking forward to hosting these events, and hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Do YOU have what it takes to be named Trivia Champion? Bring your friends or come on your own and come test your skills at this FREE Spooky-themed trivia night on October 16! Click here for more information.

Saturday, October 17: Oktoberfest! 🍻🎉

This is not exclusively a “Gather Space Coast” event, but an inter-generational celebration on Advent’s campus, sponsored by the men’s ministry. This free event will be from 11am-2:00pm and will include fun activities and free brats for everyone! More information can be found on the Facebook Event page

November Events for Gather Space Coast
Friday, November 6: Gratitude Cards 🙏 Expressing gratitude can make a big impact. Sometimes it is hard to find time to set aside to write a good old-fashioned thank you note, but it can mean the world to someone. Come on over to Advent’s fellowship hall at 6:30pm on the 6th of November, and I will have some paper crafting supplies/pre-made cards available. You can also bring your own crafting supplies! We will gather for this informal time to chat, create, and share gratitude together. Friday, November 20: Friends-Giving 🦃 This is an exciting time for us to gather for a meal together, celebrating Thanksgiving just a little early. I will provide the turkey and drinks (guess I need to learn how to do that!) but please bring a side dish to share. We will meet in Advent’s Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm. For this event. PLEASE fill out the RSVP form so I know about how many people are coming and what food will be available. Click hereto RSVP. Monday, November 23: United in Thanksgiving 🤲 This is not exclusively a “Gather Space Coast” event, but an inter-faith celebration on Advent’s campus beginning at 7pm, hosted by InterFaith United.

Komme Zum Oktoberfest!
Welcome one and all to Advent Lutheran Church’s Oktoberfest sponsored by the men’s ministry! We will be celebrating this free and open to the public event on Saturday October 17th from 11am until 2pm on the Advent Campus. There will of course be all of the culinary delights such as bratwurst, hot dogs, sauerkraut, red cabbage and pretzels. But there will also be family entertainment such as sno cones by Kona Ice, bounce house, obstacle course, corn hole, face painting, magic show, balloon art, and more. And of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without oom-pah-pah music. So grab your lederhosen, dirndle, and your dancing shoes and Komme zum Oktoberfest!
